Shandy with Full Spectrum Schoppee Special
Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Today is all you could dream of for Maine summer weather! We thought we'd celebrate with a traditional warm weather drink with an American twist. Because it is so toasty and we don't want you to spend more time inside than you have to, today for our Cocktail Friday we are making something quick and easy. We've had some requests for a way to use our Schoppee Special Reserve in beer drink so we are happy to oblige with a couple little twists on a shandy.
THE DETAILS
Here's an easy one thats fun to experiment with. Traditionally half lager and half lemon/lime soda there are as many ways to make this drink as there are bartenders making it. Half beer, half something citrus. Thats it. Throw on 5-10mg of Schoppee Special Reserve and you're ready to garnish and enjoy! I like to substitute about half of the lemon/lime soda with a sparkling water. Its makes for a much less sweet drink.
